Adrian Göllner has been described as a site-specific satirist. Employing a variety of mediums and techniques in a chameleon-like adaptation to the environments in which he exhibits, Göllner freely combines an interest in old technologies, graphing techniques and references to Modernism in artworks that consider the American zenith of the 20th century. Göllner has had the fortune to receive 19 public art commissions. Notable amongst these are the street lighting designs for the Vancouver 2010 winter Olympic Games and an integrated sculpture for the new Canadian Embassy in Berlin, which was completed in 2005.

Göllner's work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and New Zealand. He is also the recipient of numerous Canada Council and Ontario Arts Council Grants, and his work is held in a wide number of collections, including the Anglo-Irish Bank, Ottawa Art Gallery, Queen's University, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Canadian War Museum. Göllner received a BFA from Queen's University in 1987 and has worked with a number of artist-run centres and art service organizations over the years.
